[G4] G4 RAM & DVD

I have a G4, Silver Door, with Dual 867mzh processors.

I would like to max out the memory, and install a DVD burner.

I would appreciate any suggestions regarding best (value/$$$) DVD unit, and 
what memory chips I should be looking for ?
