I don't have your answer, but first, someone who DOES is going to want 
to know, WHAT master power switch?

It's the "...inadvertently" that confuses me. Anyhow...

Finder/Shut Down?
The main lighted power switch on the front of the CPU Tower?
Some AC power switch that cuts off the 115 V. power to your CPU?
