Just another example as to why ram should only be purchased from 
reliable vendors, such as Crucial (IIRC, they supply Apple with its 
RAM) or Kingston. Unfortunately, Valerie did not have a choice in 
this and it is obvious that PC Connection went with the cheapest 
stick they could find.
