[G4] Connecting G3 to G4

With a lot of help from Ernest (thanks again), I got my two G3s 
running under OS 9.2.2 communicating with a G4 running Panther 10.3.9 
this week.

First question - what OS is the G4 running?
Second question: Do you simply want to connect two Macs together, or 
are you planning something more ambitious?

To save group bandwidth, it's probably best to continue off-list.
