[G4] odd screen behaviour

Has anyone seen this before? Could it be the Radeon card? The 
processor? Or the logic board going bad?

1> Did this problem begin after or before you installed the Radeon 
card? If after, you can guess that it may be causing some sort of 
conflict. If before, you have something else that is the cause.

2> Have you tried a different processor and gotten the same symptom?

3> Do you have multiple programs active when the problem arises, or 
just a single program?

4> Have you installed any "strange" third-party software recently or 
just before the problem started showing?

All this information could help with trouble-shooting.
