[G4] Mail & Address Book vs Entourage

I have some questions about email/address book programs.
Mail & Address Book vs Entourage:
    Using OS X 10.4, which email/Address book  program  do you believe may
be best?    
    Is there a way in either program to search (and delete) the address
database for duplicate data?  My database(s) includes many data duplicates
because of importing from other Address book files.
