By the way, I am finding that the fan at the power supply in the QS is cheap and not at all robust.  Be prepared to replace yours.  I also had to replace the small fan that was integral to the OWC Mercury Extreme heat exchanger.  When I opened the case, I saw that it was working only intermittently, and the related symptom was that I was once again getting weird fonts on my screen.  All is well now, but I have a refurb 20" iMac Intel Core-Duo in the delivery channels from the Apple Store, even as I type this.  Because one thing after another seems to be going wrong with my QS: Fans, HD, replacement video card [maybe--not sure if that was also a culprit, but replaced it with the original one].  Keeping my QS in good repair is getting to be more of a drag than a hobby.
