If you just want more disk space, why not add a Sonnet tempo serial ATA card? For $80 you get to use as big a drive as you like and choose from modern SATA drives at 150Mbps. I have one in a series 1 B&W G3 with a Maxtor 150Gb drive. Boots os 9 and 10.
