[G4] SIIG Ultra 133 pro card

I recently purchased this card for use with my 533 Mhz DA in order to 
use a couple of new Seagate 250 Gb HD's.  Upon installation of the card 
and drives I found I could not partition/format the drives.  I got the 
"You need to restart your computer" message each time I tried.  I 
repeated this entire scenario using 10.3.9 as well as 10.4.10 with the 
same results.  SIIG support suggested using a 40 pin/40 wire cable 
instead of the 40 pin/80 wire cable they provided which did allow me to 
partition/format the drives to their full capacity.  Of course using 
this cable negates the speed advantage which was why I switched from my 
B&W to the DA.  Before I return this card to OWC for a different one I 
was wondering if anyone else had this problem and perhaps found a 
better remedy than using the different cable.
