[G4] Imac G4 700mhz hard drive/optical upgrade

Anybody upgrade their iMac G4 with a hard drive greater than 128MB? Also a
Pioneer 111 DVD±R? I've heard that they might be 48-bit limited to 128MB and
some optical drives might not fit.

Any advice would be helpful.
