[G4] G4 MAc wont startup

You boot from a CD by holding the "C" key down during 
startup. If/when it boots-up you can see what's on the HD. 
Maybe, there's no OS installed. (The blinking question mark 
usually means it can't find an OS to boot from.) Does it 
have more than one HD and or partition? What about 
installed RAM?
