Greetings ( + )!( + ) Sure, your Gigabit platform is rated at 10/100/1000 Base-T (RJ-45) connection, so moving to a gigabit router/switch will increase you transfer of data between the machines by a factor of 10. So if you do a lot of large file transfers the you will cut down on the time required to complete the job.
