[G4] APC Powerchute software!

I believe the purpose of the USB cable connect/software is to perform 
a (controlled) shut down of the computer in the case of a prolonged 
power outage in which the APC unit's battery are becoming exhausted. 
The software/USB connection is not necessary for the unit to provide 
automatic backup power.
