[G4] Will OS 9 Support New Apple HD Monitors?

Supported to what extent? As long as OS 9 can handle your graphics card,
and presumably all Mac-compatible cards work with OS 9, with or without
specific extensions installed, then it should be OK with any display
plugged into it. I've got a Westinghouse 22" widescreen plugged into a
beige G3 at the mo'. It doesn't support the wide-screen resolutions.
