Yes, much faster. There's a 40x difference in theoretical
speed, 12 Mb/s vs. 480 Mb/s, although actual speeds for
USB 2.0 probably top out at around 300 Mb/s. Still, it's
a big difference; you'll feel like you're growing old
waiting for 20GB to download at USB 1.1 speed. :)
