[G4] Transferring to a new computer

My little sister has an 800MHz Quicksilver that I put Leopard on (no,
Leopard isn't *supposed* to run on G4s that slow).  I keep looking at
used iBooks and Powerbooks that I'd like to get her.  When I
eventually get her one, what's the best way to transfer her stuff to
the new computer, with the primary concern being long-term stability
and reliability of the OS?
