Upgrading the Video card would benefit for running larger more modern
Applications, some 3D games, and better Video playback, and better
framerates for Motion playback in Videos and some Games, and allow
you to run larger more modern Displays.

My MDD Dual G4 came with the nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 128MB DDR 4x AGP
video card. It has served me well but it fails with some video
applications I try and a few games that I actually play on my MAc.

The only upgrade path for the video that I have found (for my MDD) is
via the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. Why? because its 4x/8x AGP and will work
with the limits of the 300 watt Power Supply that is in my MDD, and
AGP is still faster than PCI and the other Radeon 9800 Card is
designed for the G5.

Peace,
