That should be fine. Mine G4 also had that graphics card. Just make sure to back up your important data in case you have to roll back to an earlier version. Just curious, what DVD do you have in your machine and what media is your Leopard on? My machine wouldn't read the dual layer DVD and I had to use a different way to install the OS.
