[G4] G4 shut-down woes

Greetings Peter

With a search engine (google, etc.) find the UNIX application  
"applejack" then install it on your boot drive and the cold boot  
holding down CMD+S

This will cause a boot into single user mood at which time you can run  
applejack.
To read how to use applejack type "man applejack" which will take you  
to the manual page for applejack.

Or just enter applejack AUTO reboot, AUTO in caps causes a Deep Clean  
function.
