[G4] numeric keypad not working

Well, I have  zapped the PRAM again -- five chimes, and reloaded the  
OS  -- yup you guessed it  - still no numeric pad!  Maybe it is a  
hardware problem?

But on the other hand, I cannot get the numeric lock to work on any of  
my machines. Can you folks get yours to work? And if you have a small  
green LED on your numeric lock button -- does it light up?  I can't  
get that to work either.  The Caps lock light works, but the numeric  
lock.
