[G4] quicksilver g4 1ghz superdrive wont boot

Have you tried a paperclip in the little hole to open the CD drive?   
The link below will
take you to a detailed article on it.   You might have to remove the  
drive from its holder
to get to the manual eject hole.  My Quicksilver has a pioneer drive,  
FWIW, and I can't
get to the manual eject by opening the door.

I cannot get the cd drive to open. so no. :(
