I have a G4 Tower with a 17" Apple Studio Display<BR>
<BR>
Lately, when the display wakes up after being asleep, the screen shows a gray, striped pattern for a few seconds before displaying the desktop.<BR>
<BR>
The gray stripes are about 3 to four inches wide, with alternating hues of gray.<BR>
<BR>
Is this an indication of an impending failure of either the display or video card<BR>
<BR>
Any and all information/comments will be appreciated<BR>
