Here is a link to one auction for the OWC extreme - check periodically
for others that seem to be offered regularly. I just put in 'G4
upgrade' in the search window and get a reasonably broad spectrum of
offerings. Some of the auctions are placed by individuals selling used
processor upgrades for personal reasons. I'd exercize more caution with
these.<br>

I'm also seeing used 1.4 GHz OWC Mercury Extreme upgrades for much less
- like under $100 - these are being offered by reputable power sellers
who state that unit has been 'pulled' from working G4 - give you 10
days to return as defective but no warranty. <br>

Any comments on value of these appreciated. Not sure if 933 to 1.4
would even provide much of a bump.<br>
