Previously I had the iPod syncing to a WinXP PC via USB and syncing was fast. It's a 20GB iPod, 3rd generation?<br><br>I copied the music over to the Mac, formatted the drive Macintosh style, and began the sync with a Firewire cable. It is s-l-o-w.
