[G5] A Stupid Question..

By a "Floppy Reader" I assume you mean a USB Floppy drive?  If so you should
be able to simply plug it in.  I've done that with my G5 2x2, and I've even
used it with Virtual PC 7.0 to boot and install MS-DOS 6.22.

You'll want to tell the Mac to "eject" each floppy, though I assume you'll
have to do that manually once it's been removed from the Mac desktop.
