[G5] Installing Tiger to my Pboook using my G5

Yes Gary you are on the right track. Just connect them FW to FW and  
boot the PowerBook in Target mode. Then put the Tiger install DVD in  
the G5 SuperDrive and it will mount on the G5 desktop where you can  
launch the installer and let it do it's thing to the PowerBook.
