ADB to USB adapters

Hi,
I am getting tired of the unresponsive keyboard which came with my iMac 
and am wondering if anyone has any experience with USB to ADB adapters 
like the Griffin iMate. I have an Apple extended keyboard from an old 
machine that I would love to use in place of the USB model, but before 
I buy an iMate I would like to hear from others who have used it. I 
also wonder about the mouse. Is it possible to use the ADB mouse as 
well as the keyboard with the iMate? If I stick with the original USB 
mouse I will need to use the USB hub I bought but never have hooked up. 
Should the hub combined with the iMate work OK.
