One additional word of warning: remember what its name is, because once its unstuffed and opened as a new folder, your system could be set to put it someplace where you may have some trouble finding it. But if you remember the name, you can simply run a Find on it, and find it that way. I have my system set to open these files and leave them on the desktop. Can't remember if that's the default or I had to set it that way. I believe if you open this and go to the toolbar menu of this program you should be able to click on the select item or perhaps just select then go to the item you would like to grab and set your cursor to box around it then let go and it will make a photo of this item. I believe that's how it's done but I'm not sure. In Os ( you can select command shift 4 then box around the item and you will take a screen shot of the item which will be saved to your hard drive. I am sure there are others who can confirm this or set me straight if I am wrong here. Brad -- "If its good to you, its good for you. Well, now you know, you can do contextual menus just as easily as WinPC users :-) BTW - should you decide to get a multi-button mouse I highly recommend the optical Microsoft Intellimouse (the only MS product I use with my Mac *grins*). I'm sure others will have there own recommendations. Speaking of which - I'm now in the market for another similar mouse - another Intellimouse, or another model? Anyway - I still recommend those books. There's always more to learn about MacOS. However, if I remember correctly, they work very similarly. In fact, I could be mistaken, but I think Entourage may just be a higher end version of Outlook Express. If you're used to the one, it should be easy to transition to the other. And once you do, you'll absolutely love it. When you first start to use Entourage, I believe you'll have to set up your new account by opening Tools on the Menubar, then clicking on Accounts near the bottom, then clicking on New when that box opens. You will then get a window asking for all your account setup information. Therefore, go right now (this very second!) into Outlook Express, and copy down the account information that's in there--i.e. your: Account ID Password POP server SMTP server And whatever else your current ISP requires Then when you start Entourage, you just enter the same info and you should be good to go. I think I'm pretty close here, but if we never see you on the list again, we'll know I was wrong, and I hope you still manage to live a long, happy life despite the fact that you'll never again have access to email. :) Brian From janesprando at comcast.net Sat May 21 16:36:12 2005 From: janesprando at comcast.net (Jane Sprando) Date: Sat May 21 16:36:11 2005 Subject: [HM] Re: witching to Entourage/settings In-Reply-To: Message-ID: on 5/21/05 6:47 AM, Brian Olesky at brian4@sbcglobal.net wrote: > > On 5/21/05 12:49 AM, "Jane Sprando" wrote: > >> Brian, I recently bought Office 2004, but have yet to install it.
