[MacDV] To SVCD or to CVD

I don't know what CVD is but the other two formats are not good choices 
for archiving, they are o.k. for distributing.  VCD has big drop in 
video quality due to mpg1 compression  but is compatible with lots of 
DVD players were SVCD has better video quality but fewer DVD players 
will play them.  Best to save your projects on tape until you have a DVD 
burner and even then archiving to tape is a good idea.
