I used Alkaline rechargeables in my battery recharger (for use with a flash
on a digital camera) and came home to find a pool of gunk in my recharger
and dead batteries. Read the small print on the back of the recharger and it
said to use only NiMH in the charger. Lesson learned. They were toasty hot
too, glad the place didn't burn down.
