[MacDV] Memorex DVD-R Fails in Superdrive

The Apple disks and Verbatim disks work fine in my Sony S560D. The 
Apple disks seem the most reliable of those I've tried so far. My 
player occasionally "gets lost" and gives a "dirty head" error message 
and I have to eject the disk and start over, but generally they work 
fine.
