This is a bug in iMovie that is easily solved. Double click on the audio track that is fading in/out and select both Fade In and Fade Out but slide them to zero on both and your audio will no longer fade. This also happens occasionally if you select a fade in or out on an audio track and then deselect it. Kevin Ledgister kledgister at mac.com
