Just as a matter of intrest, one of the advantages of SCSI, was that it didn't lock the
bus, when a request for i/o was made, therefore several devices could share and make
requests of the scsi bus simultaneously.

What is the behaviour of firewire in this situation, if you have several devices connected
to one port.
