There is some hope yet: After a little digging around I found that SmithMicro supports quite a few phones and quite a few services (including Verizon) basically if you get your stuff from them it's plug and play (they claim) just install the software and hook up your phone... so you don't have to worry about the lack of support from your carrier... although these are the same people that brought us FaxSTF so I'm a little scared... The guy I talked to a Verizon said their stuff does work with Mac but Verizon has no support staff, so if something is funky you are on your own. That's why they don't list it as supported/compatible... >> Verizon Wireless doesn't support the Mac (and doesn't intend to do so >> based >> on their site) or have any docs I could find about how to make >> ANYTHING work >> with Mac. The responses I've gotten from tech support were actually >> rather >> rude. ________________ Matthew Guemple Art Director/03 mo.og at verizon.net c. 646.734.6601 h. 646.742.0994 www.gridd.com http://www.creativehotlist.com/ index.asp?linkTarget=fullProfile.asp&indID=19599
