Just iMovie for now.  At some point, I may step up to Final Cut 
Express, but probably not for a few months at least.

In iMovie (v 2.1, actually -- I need to download the upgrade), it 
worked fine.  I just plug in the Firewire cable, turn the camcorder 
to "VCR" mode, and then I can control it (play, rewind, import, etc.) 
from within iMovie.
