First, you want to configure QuickTime to save downloaded movies in a cache file. Second, you want to use Netscape, Mozilla, Pheonix, or Camino to view the movie. Third, download "PathFinder" (sorry, I don't have a link) and use this to navigate your way to the profiles folder for the application. You should find your QuickTime movie there.
