I was told that it would run on a G3 Mac, specifically, on my 700mHz G3 
iBook. However, somethings need a G4 and a G5 is needed to take full advantage of 
64 bit optimization.

For example: a DV camcorder will not be recognized in iChat for video 
conferencing on a G3.

That's about all I know about it. I'm sure we will learn more before Panther 
comes out.
