FCP3 Install on system w/o OS9?

Hello all,

	I just got a new used Powerbook G3 Pismo and I did a clean install of OS
10.2 without installing
OS9. I'm trying to install FCP3 OSX version, but it looks like the installer
is trying to find an OS9
system folder. Is there any way around this? Do I absolutely HAVE to install
OS9 in order to install
FCP3 for OSX? BTW this is my first post and I really like this list.
Interesting debates about the G5.

Specs:
Powerbook G3 Pismo 400MHz
256MB RAM
10G Internal HD
120G External HD
DVD-ROM Drive
Mac OS 10.2.6
