error of type -127

Sounds like an extension conflict. You've probably thought of that but check
that you don't have 2 of the exact same extension - one in the Extensions
folder and another in the Extensions Disabled folder.  If you do, throw out
the older of the two.  You could also try searching for error -127 in the
Apple knowledge base and see what comes up. (sometimes nothing useful)
