Audio turn off Bug in iMovie - Any way to restore clips in trash after saving the project?

Ever export a project to iDVD in iMovie only to find that the audio has
disappeared? If you forget to audition the iMovie project as the last step
before testing your iDVD project and throw it away to save space, this may
be a problem. Here's a possible reason for the disappearing audio. If you
view the timeline in clips mode, obviously you don't see the audio play
select buttons at the right of the timeline as you do in tracks mode. But
the button is still sensitive to a click in the same location. So if you
accidentally click the area, you could turn off the audio even though you
may have never selected track view. It's easy to do when dragging clips from
the clips pane to the end of the timeline. I had suspected a problem like
this for some time but only just confirmed it.

Any way to restore clips in trash after saving the project? Trash hasn't
been emptied, but project has been saved. Thanks.
