The worst is in Brazil, where the three major cities all have different electricity - as I recall, Brazilia is 220V/50Hz, Rio is 110V/50Hz and Sao Paolo is 110V/60Hz. In Brazil, they use a version called PAL-M, which manages to incorporate (the worst of ;-) both PAL and NTSC!
