OT iPhoto importing albums

Went to a local Apple store to buy Toast 6 and walked out with a Power 
Book G4 867 MHZ with the combo drive.  I wanted to install the albums 
as they are on my iMac.  I deleted the iPhoto Library and dragged in 
it's place the one that I had  burned to DVD (4.06 GB worth).  When I 
open iPhoto all the albums appear but none of the pictures appear, they 
are on the hard-drive but both the albums and the Photo library in 
iPhoto are empty.

Any help would be appreciated
