Final Cut Express cache files

My son is using FCE to capture some MiniDV tapes to disk, but the 
program is storing cache files on the main drive. How do I get it to 
store the stuff on my 120GB third drive where I let him work on stuff.

The main drive filled up a crashed the system due to lack of space.
