Re type for FCP HD 4.5

With the new FCP HD 4.5, does anyone have any suggestions what the best 
way to put titles on a project going to HD 1080i60, then to film.  
We've been told Livetype is OK to a point and Photoshop is the same.  I 
heard Motion may be good as well - but not sure I have time to learn it 
or $ for this project.  The credits are not rolling - just fade on and 
off and have special effects so we can do a frame by frame text paste 
if needed.

Any suggestions welcomed.
