[MacDV] Upgrading

i would recommend adding max ram possible with os x panther installed 
on your g4,
especially with slower g4 processors (350, 400, 500mhz)...
as far as hard drives go, i suggest seagate barracudas 7200's, they 
definitely rule.
they're super quiet (perhaps the quietest out there), and are known for 
their strength and reliability.
they have never disappointed me.
i'll diligently let others on this list recommend controller cards...
excuse my poor english but what are hods? did you mean two smaller hard 
drives?
