P in P in iMovie 3

Hey folks,

I'm all excited 'cos I just read a QT tutorial in UK MacFormat magazine 
which mentioned generating picture-in-picture FX using QuickTime Pro.

I've tried it, and also doing P in P in a full quality QT movie 
exported from iMovie 3, then re imported to iMovie. It worked fine, but 
it was very much hit or miss and I would like much greater control of 
the placement of the P in P, and if possible, borders etc.

Where could I find out more about this?
