several questions -7/27/04

1) I started working with the original IMovie on a iMac DV SE. There 
seem to be some iMovie 2 transitions and sound effects that I have on 
the old iMac DV SE ( now used mostly by my daughter) that are not 
available in iMovie 4. Can I copy them and use them in 4?

2) What MiniDV camcorders are relatively inexpensive and facilitate 
analog-to-digital conversion with pass-through?

3) Also in addition to a lot of vhs and High8 source material I have 
quite a few 3/4" Sony U-matic tapes I need to convert to edit with 
iMovi4 on my I gig eMAC.

Any suggestions on a place I can ship them to to have this done 
inexpensively (I work with an impoverished nonprofit organization, so 
cost is a major factor) I woulkd just as soon get the 3/4" analog 
content returned via data cd or data dvd as QT files.
