Little Tiny 40Gig

 From our history with drives can you believe that our 40gig drives are 
little tiny? Never would have thunk it! Do do space restraints on my 
powerbook, I was considering a firewire drive for movie work. If I 
start a new project on an external firewire drive, can I make the whole 
thing from import of movies, pics, and sound all the way through iMovie 
to iDVD to burned DVD? Are there any "details" that I need to be aware 
of? Or, can I just find a decent sized decent priced firewire drive and 
have at it? Any recommendations? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
