The DV video produced by even the cheapest modern DV camera is probably still better quality than what the VideoVision is capable of, and probably at a lower bitrate too, since the DV codec is much more efficient. I worked on an old beast like this for a few years (first gen. NuBus Targa 2000), and it was a CHORE to get decent quality at a bitrate that you could manage on an 2x4 GB F/W SCSI RAID 0. And render times... On an 80 MHz 7100? Better do it over night. Those were the days. ;-) - Mark
