[MacDV] Re: what to get... or rent?

I have no issues with picture quality, but tape handling isn't nearly as good. The
transport has to be more carefully aligned for clean playback without digital artifacts
and doesn't stand up very well to shuttling back & forth.

When someone brings in a Digital 8 master, I dub to mini-Dv before even capturing so
that I have a clean timecode.
